What does it mean if Showings JUST STOP?
Monday morning angry phone calls make for the best blogs. A home owner, listed with another company, called to yell at me that "All showings on their home have stopped? and WHY? You may be asking why she is calling me? I interviewed for the listing but she gave it to a franchise office who said it was worth way more than market value.
 
She was asking this question over and over, why? why? why? and with a sigh.... my simple answer was her home is over priced. Again she asked why? and I reminded her she called to tell me she listed with a franchise as they told her that the house was worth more. That i told her what the market was like. I told her exactly what her house was worth, but she had dollar signs in her eyes. 
 
We are seeing a change in the market. We see some homes sell in days. We see some take weeks and others that have not sold yet. The amount of homes for sale is rising slowly and the amount of buyers has slowed slightly. Home Owners whose homes are on the market, can be wondering why they have not sold yet. Why they ... more
