Though it wasn't a few days ago and it has been a few years, I do remember being new to ActiveRain. I happened upon this site up because someone told me that I should blog and suggested ActiveRain as a good place to start. That person said to grow my business and be found on Google I had to be blogging.

So that very day, I searched it out, found it and signed up. I paid for a full year of service. I filled out my profile and wrote my first post. Whew! I was blogging and thought my job was done. I logged off, expected results and did not return for 3 months.
Three months passed and one day I wondered why I wasn't getting business from my blog. I felt like my profile would be enough to bring in new business. I could track no calls or contacts to ActiveRain. I decided to see what I had missed and logged back on. I spent quite a bit of time reading and getting familiar with the site.
