Day 3 of the 12 Days of Thanks Giving - My Brood
What a gift Debbie has given us this month with the 12 Days of Thanks Giving Challenge. Focusing daily on what we're thankful for should continue throughout the year. It's truly a delight to see all of the posts in the Rain of late, filled with gratitude. Thanks Debbie, you are loved and appreciated.
 
 
Day 3 of Thanks Giving
 
My children and their children are my magnus opus, of sorts.
 
The pride and love I feel for them nearly bursts my heart at times. Each has grown into a kind and wonderful person. They are successful in different ways; a strong young woman and registered nurse, an avid sportsman and sales manager, and an adventurer and business owner. Like my husband, they have a great sense of humor, and make me laugh. 
 
My sons married amazing women, and my daughters-in-law are wonderful mothers, wives, and people. They truly are my daughters too.

   Bend, Oregon Family - Nate and Holly, Skyler, Connor and little Holden
 
The Denver, CO Family - Kelsea and Raegan 
 
Grandchildren open your heart in ways you never imagined. 
 
We now have six grandchildren. 
They are each uniquely wonderful. 
Spending time with them is always magical and joy-filled. 
Amazingly, it feels like having your own children young again, without the parental anxiety.
