November 4th, I competed in the District 3 Humorous Speech Contest
I was one of nine finalists out of 4,500 Toastmasters in Arizona, and to get to the contest a two-hour drive, I laid on my right side in the back seat of the car while my wife drove. Also, I returned home to Phoenix the same way, because of the back pain I was experiencing.
My humorous speech conveys how I have been in the ER 15 times of three different hospitals in the past five years.
The words of the speech were delivered in a totally humorous fashion, yet without realizing it I have experienced much more medical or physical difficulties than average people.
But I never stopped and thought about my issues, but even had my strongest year as a Realtor last year out of 38 years!
