Hey, You're NOT The Listing Agent!
I am passing on a wonderful, well written article on what happens when you a home buyer searches online for a home. The agents who wrote it are in Ohio. However the same applies here in Virginia.
Always remember here in Prince William County Virginia we are a caveat emptor State. ( Buyer Beware) It is always in your best interest to align your self with an experienced local real buyers agent who knows the area where you want to buy well!

If you're a Cincinnati home buyer and surfing the internet for homes for sale, chances are you're NOT going to be reaching out to the listing agent unless you REALLY understand how Internet marketing works.  Now later we'll touch on whether or not you SHOULD be trying to reach the listing agent!
First, there are a multitude of sites that provide details about the homes for sale in our area.  Some provide only the agent listed homes (e.g. individual agent and local brokerage sites, national brokerage sites, etc.).  Others may provide For Sale By Owner homes only.  Other sites may provide a mix of the two with varying degree of accuracy.
