Life is Wild for Those Living Near the American River
Off and on, since last autumn, I have been on a mission to relocate a population of masked invaders, who seem to believe they have property rights to my backyard.  I have a small fish pond which acts as their private Sushi bar, while they cavort in the water, as if they believe it to be the Jacuzzi at the Playboy Mansion.  I no longer stock it with Gold Fish, which seemed to attract these critters/varmints. But, they continue to show up and party hearty!
I have a borrowed "catch and release" type of trap.  And, early this morning I released this little guy to my usual spot along the beautiful American River!  I have named him Raccoon #5.  I purposefully do not provide the critters/varmints with more human names, because they are so cute and I don't wish to get attached to them.
Also, at the place of release, I couldn't help snapping a picture of our special waterway with the mists above, at dawn!
