How can you see a home in the dark?
An interesting trend with feedback from buyers inspired the owner of a listing to make changes. Every buyer who saw the home after dark, mentioned on how dark the area in front of the home was. The Seller searched for a way to light the area. Over and over he was told post lights would make a big difference. There was old light posts, they long did not work as the power had been cut to them long ago. The cost to rewire was huge though.
 
We discussed Solar LED Light fixtures that just screw on the top of the poles replacing those non working lights. It came with a kit to adapt to mounting on a home or on a deck rail. He bought four of them. A couple of nights later, it looked like a different home. 
 
I purchased one for my home earlier during winter. A tree branch laden with ice took mine out. The biggest surprise for me was my electric bill was $40 less a month. It payed for itself in 2 months.
