National Proofreading Day is March 8!

Believe it or not, there is such a thing as National Proofreading Day and it was started by Judy Beaver to honor her mother.

And while it may seem a bit odd that I highlight this day since I have been known to have my share of OOPS moments, proofreading your work is still important.

We all have those moments when a word is misspelled or omitted. We’ve used their when we meant to use they’re.

Our very kind friends will shoot us a text or email us to make us aware of these (never very nice to mention this in the comment section.)

But on occasion, I run across a post with so many misspelled words that they turn into a distraction.
If you try to dictate your posts via Siri or some other program, you truly do need to proofread your work.
