Skip the White House, We Have Real Castles in DC - Check Us Out!
Of course we have the White House and all the embassies but Cinderella doesn't live in those places.  In DC, we actually have a few castles to go along with the home of the President and all those ambassadors.  You won't find Queen Elizabeth living in any of these castles, but it is fun to imagine what life would be like if you lived in a castle in Washington! 
1.  The Gibbons Hall Castle at Catholic University
  Built in 1911, The Gibbons Hall Castle is part of Catholic University and is a residence hall. Can't you imagine how cool it is to say you’re going to college in a castle.2. Rossdhu Gate
  This Scottish Tudor style castle is in Chevy Chase, Maryland, just outside of Washington DC.  It is technically the gatehouse of a much larger castle. The original 30 room castle was originally built by Daisy Calhoun and her husband, a wealthy Washington couple but when the stock market crashed in 1929, the Calhouns moved into this gatehouse and used the castle as a nightclub to make money.
