Stepping Out to Move Up ~ REBlogWorld
There are many things in life that puzzle me, but one of the most perplexing are real estate agents who never attend another class to improve their skills. As a life-long student of learning, I've garnered more initials after my name than letters in it. My intent wasn't to get top-heavy in designations, but to improve my skills and challenge myself. After the first decade and a half in real estate I found I was too focused on the business to be able to see beyond it.
That was a mistake, a big mistake.
In 1997 I went looking to build a website to generate real estate business. Today making that statement doesn't sound so far-fetched, but trust me, in 1997 when I said it people stare back at me as though I had a third eye in the middle of my brow.
My quest to accomplish this goal pushed me beyond the borders of the real estate industry. Lucky for me at the time there was no one who knew much of anything about what I was trying to do so off into the real world I wondered.
