Yesterday while taking care of some personal business a very nice lady asked me what I did for a living.  I told her that I was a real estate agent.   Not an unusual question.  Her response to me was unusual:                              "I'm so sorry"
Wow.  I've heard "It must be rough out there" or "Hope things get better soon!" and "How's the market here?" but I've never heard such a sincere "I'm so sorry".
At first I was dumbfounded because she was so sincere.  She actually felt sorry for me.   I smiled, and noticed a pad of note paper on her desk and asked her if I could borrow it for a moment. She nodded, I took my seat in the waiting room with the pad of paper and wrote a couple of lines on it:                                                      Meeting wonderful people.
                                                      Facing challenges every day.                                                      Becoming a member of extended families.                                                      Being a partner to dreams.
                                                      Finding the rainbows after the storms.
I then walked back up to the counter with the pad of paper and and several of my cards, both my business cards and my moo cards with my blog address on it.   I waited until she ... more
