Information:  Blog Action Day 2008 on Poverty --> http://blogactionday.org/
Purpose:  This historical day represents the online movement throughout the world to promote awareness and particpation in fighting against poverty.  Bloggers unite to promote thier influence through blog participation, videos and other creative online marketing platforms.  Last years movement was based on the environment this year is based on poverty.
411 behind Poverty:  First of all thank you very much for checking out my blog.  I know that sometimes people look past things that doesn't help themselves out personally or gain personal gains from reading this and thats fine thats human nature but not everyone is like that and I thank those people who are not that way.
Poverty from the wikipedia definition is 
" deprivation of common necessities that determine the quality of life, including food, clothing, shelter and safe drinking water, and may also include the deprivation of opportunities to learn, to obtain better employment to escape poverty, and/or to enjoy the respect of fellow citizens."
So bottom line is the deprived state of being poor.  Poverty is most commonly seen in third world countries but in Reality poverty exists everywhere including here in the ... more
