Should I float? Should I lock? - Daily Update for Thursday, November 13, 2008
Here are the daily thoughts on floating or locking if you are asked by your clients.
As always - consult your favorite mortgage professional who will be able to offer the best advice for YOUR unique situation.
Jobless Claims rose higher than expected for October.  Yesterday bonds clawed back above the 200 day moving average after further weakness in the stock market.
Technically speaking - the FNMA 6.0% 30 year bond rose back above the 200 day moving average.  The bond is hovering just under the overbought state..
I am recommending to
  LOCK your mortgage rate.
