Market Update Tampa Florida February 2009
WOW! February 2009 was a great sales month in the Tampa-Bay area. Sales increased over 10% in the South Shore Area over January 2009. The majority of sales were REO and Short Sales. Builder sales have also increased on available inventory homes. The listing inventory has gone down dramatically. A decrease of 20% over January 2009 active listings. We are seeing more buyers taking advantage of lower home prices, interest rates and the $8,000 tax credit. If this trend in sales continues we should have a great spring and summer. What a Great Time to Buy!
