Wide angle shots -
What a difference a lens makes...
In the early summer I purchased the Kodak V570 wide angle lens camera (this was so that my Nikon & Sony cameras would have some company.. as many of you know I suffer from too-little-toy-aphobia...) and I love it! They now sell in the mid $200's because there is a 6 megapixel version coming out. One of the benefits is that you can shoot a small room and get so much more of it in the photo, so unlike many of the photos where you only get a small corner of the bedroom, you can get a better perspective. The 570 also offers on camera panorama stiching... but I have yet to embrace this technology...
The main feature to the camera is the dual lens system which allows you to take photos with a .23mm lens instead of the standard .35mm... today I was taking pics of a small townhome, and decided to take them in both regular and wide angle so that you could see the difference when standing in the exact same spot:
