Denver based CHFA (Colorado Housing and Finance Authority) has announced a couple new programs to assist homebuyer struggling in this recession.    HomeOpener and HomeOpener Plus mortgages are now available to first time homebuyers and homeowner who have purchase at least one home already.    This loan will be a 30 year fixed rate loan that will include down-payment and closing costs assistance, and will require the borrower to attend a homebuyer education course at the authority.    GREAT news for first time homebuyers still needing assistance with funds to get into the housing market!
