The Myth about running credit and score dropping
I'm Here to clear up that myth for everyone out there.
 
It's a half truth that needs to be explained.
 
If your credit is run a few times(lets say 3) in a 2-3 week span its not going to drop your score like that Urban Legend everyone is telling you.
 
Credit companies understand that your score needs to be pulled by lenders in order for you to get a loan.
 
That being said dont visit 3 brokers a day for 2 weeks and have each run your credit. That WILL effect it.
 
My suggestion is to deal with someone you trust or that has been rcommended to you by someone you trust(realtor/family member/co worker) and they have used that person before.
 
In all honesty your credit should be run and reviewed every month or so to make sure you dont have idenity theft or credit errors.
