There were 2,575 total closings in
October 2012, up 36% from 1882 total closings in October 2011.

62.22%of all home sales in October 2012 were in the $200,000.00 and under category.

Absorption rates improved as Months Supply of inventory was down 44.3% to 6.0 months supply

New Listings in the Charlotte region increased 6.5% to 3,448.Pending sales were up by 58.5% to  2, 783.

Market wide inventory levels shrank 27.3% to 14,922 units

Charlotte, NC home sales for the month of June has finally taken some meaningful strides towards recovery!

Housing Recovery Is Building Momentum

There were 2,657 total closings in June  2012, up 14%  from 2330 closings in June 2011.

64% of all home sales in June 2012 were in the $200,000.00 and under category.

Absorption rates improved as month supply of inventory was down 29% to 9.3 months supply.
