Lovely Tia Maria, who was featured last May, arrived at the shelter on November 13, 2009 and was placed in a foster home to allow an open wound on her back leg to heal. The extra care and attention she received allowed her to fully recover, and she's a healthy and fit lady cat.
She enjoys the company of other cats but does take a bit of time to feel comfortable with them. She's now spent her entire kittenhood at the shelter and has been waiting a very long time for a family to call her own.

As promised in my earlier blog, effective Canada Day 2010, I had selected a few local charities for the purpose of giving back to the community through my real estate business, allowing my Buyers and Sellers to feel more a part of the town. For each closed transaction I decided to provide $150 broken down as follows:
The first $50 to the local charity of my choice and
the second $100.00 being chosen by my clients.
Today I was proud to provide $300.00 to our local Gananoque and District Humane Society. Two of my transactions have closed this month here … (18 comments)

Beginning on Canada Day, July 1st 2010 Susan Emo, Sales Representative with RE/MAX Riverview Realty Ltd in Gananoque, began donating $150.00 to chosen charities for every successful sale she makes. The charitable contributions will be distributed as follows:
The first $50 will be donated to the The Gananoque & District Humane Society or another charity of Susan's choosing such as The Linklater School Breakfast Club which feeds about 25-30 hungry Gananoque childreneach morning and provides healthy snacks throughout the week.
