You have an offer on your home... congratulations!  Now, the buyer's agent says the home inspector is on his way.  Don't stress.  There are a few things you can do to help speed up the process.  
1.  Be sure that water, electric and gas service are on.  Make sure all gas pilot lights burning.  Many inspectors have insurance policies, etc. that prohibit them from turning these on themselves.
2.  Remove items blocking access to HVAC equipment, electric service panels, water heaters, attics and crawl spaces.
