The YMCA has submitted a proposal to the town of Wesley Chapel to build a YMCA facility. The facility would be built near the corner of Hwy 84 and Waxhaw-Indian Trail Rd. At one time this spot was set aside for the Town Hall.

Students at Bain Elementary School in Mint Hill are collecting items to give to charity. They are looking for new hats, gloves, mittens socks and scarves, as well as new or "gently used" coats for kids.
