As I was driving on Sunset Boulevard I drove by Whisky A-Go-Go (http://www.whiskyagogo.com ) and started remembering the legendary hangout of musicians and hipsters of the 1960's. The ones that did not get their first opportunity at the Troubadour (I have written a blog post a few years ago about the Troubadour http://actvra.in/bFJ ) started here at the Whisky A-Go-Go.

St.Bonnie's Sanctuary is nestled in the foothills of the Angeles national forest, located near Sand Canyon at 27567 Oak Spring Canyon Road. St. Bonnie's Sanctuary is part of the Lane Foundation, a nonprofit pet rescue organization Founded by Gillian Lange. She wanted to save more lives.
The foundation bought the Canyon Country ranch in 2007 and constructed a state-of-the art rescue kennel which was finished in February of 2010. Since then more than 750 animals have found forever homes.

I have read with great interest, that Freddie Mac is offering 3.5% closing cost assistance to buyers. At the same time they are offering $1200 bonus to the buyer's agent who bring the offer on Home Steps properties.

Southern California's Lemon varieties consist of: Lisbon, Eureka and Meyer Lemons.
Eureka Lemons make up the bulk of the lemon crops from California, Australia and Israel. They originally came from Sicily. More than likely this is what you will be buying in a Grocery Store. They have a small nipple on one end and are somewhat smaller compared to the other varieties.
Lisbon lemons are medium in size, a bit elliptical to oblong and the skin is smoother not as ribbed as the Eureka and the nipple is more prominent. As the name implies they were introduced from Portugal.

The colors of these blooming trees are some of the most beautiful, almost breathe taking. If you come to Los Angeles for the first time in May, you will be pleasantly surprised at the various trees in full bloom.

Since some readers of my blog are not familiar with Playa Vista. Hence I decidedmention a few interesting tidbits about this great community here. Play Vista was the first New Community built on the Westside of Los Angeles in about 50 years. It consists of approximately 1087 Acres of land.

I have decided to give a little Geographical clarification for my readers who are not familiar with Century City. The actual site is about 176 acres of residential and commercial properties on the Westside of Los Angeles.
