Wordless Wednesdays: Soup again...corn chowder with a twist... well I decided to add tomatoes, basil, potatoes and langostinos. Keep in mind the fresh basil and the hidden ingredients, onions, basil, carrots and celery made the difference.
Diane mentioned wow this is different variation from how you usually make it: What is the difference? Well, I opted for Kettle & Fire low sodium chicken broth with a taste of heavy cream.
Needless to say, the fresh corn had the focus and was not overpowered by salt or salty chicken stock.
It was a winner, so with that said let me know your thoughts.

Wordless Wednesday: Sprinkles Cupcakes... well Diane felt bad that I had to deal with picking up 60 lbs. of Dog & Cat food and decided to reward me with a couple cupcakes.
This was the dark chocolate one. Now if you are in Beverly Hills do stop in and you will not be disappointed. Keep in mind the prices are Beverly Hills not other parts of the US of A:))
Now keep in mind I did not post the last picture, but the only thing was left was the paper:)))

Well as most of you know California and Los Angeles seem to have the highest Covid - 19 Positives in the country...
One of our friends is married to a Dr who has mentioned to us that all the hospitals are over flowing with Covid patients.... Hmm
I drove by the other day near USC at a large open space that is used for Covid testing.... look what I found NO Cars or should I say virtually No Cars in line.
Today I went to Trader Joe's and look at the line I stood in.... Anyway you get my point...

One of our neighbors usually brings us Chocolate Chipped Cookies around Christmas Time and they know how much we love them. Well today the doorbell was ringing. Holly started barking and Diane and I both went : Who the Hell is at the door that Holly is making such a fuss. Well it turned out out Neighbor Pat baked some Chocolate Chipped Cookies and they were still warm. Fresh from the oven, how about that, no request no communication just wanted us to be pleasantly surprised.

Our friend Lou Nanquil sent me and Diane a Text if we would love to get Chocolate Filled Baked Muffins and Pistachio Short Bread Cookies? Well with that said my reaction was is the Pope Catholic?
