century city: Century City & Westwood...

Century City and Westwood are considered amongst the most desirable communities.
When we look at neighborhoods in Los Angeles, we tend to lump them together for convenience and real estate purposes. Especially when we look at Real Estate we focus on sections of Los Angeles and we try to compartmentalize them. Century City/ Westwood is a great example.
In my opinion this approach should be adjusted, there should be a separate discussion about Century City. So, with that said, when we think of Century City we think of Avenue of the Stars and all the high-rise Condominiums that we see today.

Sunday Evening Reflection on Valentine's Day and this message! I found it very inspirational and I will be sad if they get rid of it too soon!
As I was going to the Bank and heading from there to SEE's Candy Store, since it was the afternoon before Valentine's Day, I could not help notice this sign. So I thought I would share with you this picture. Now what a great message. I loved it every one was trying to get in front of it and have their pictures taken. I thought it was very inspirational.

Why is there a new Wildlife along Avenue of the Stars in Century City?
This question has been asked by many, but few know the reason. Around the middle of November 2012 there were 22 animal sculptures place along Avenue of the Stars. These 22 “life-size bronze animal sculptures” were made by Gwynn Merrill. Some were Tigers, deer, panthers, big horn sheep, horses and even an eagle depicted in flight.
The question was WHY? The Century City Chamber of Commerce Art Council’s Sculpture committee decided to humanize the glass, concrete, asphalt and steel high-rise neighborhood. The vision was awesome to … (19 comments)

Most of you are accustomed to hearing about price increases, but look at these charts: The Single Family Residences in the 90064 Zip Code have been increasing astronomically; well you are the judge and tell me if this is not amazing. In case you are not familiar with the Los Angeles Market: the 90064 Zip Code represents Century City.
