One what are the amenities that they get for the Home Owner Dues i.e.: is there a roof top pool or an indoor pool or a pool on the grounds? Downtown Los Angeles has turned into a very Vibrant Downtown. I still remember 17+ years ago when at night it turned into a Ghost town… in some respects it reminded me of Providence Rhode Island. At night the city would become a ghost town…anyway that was twenty plus years ago.
Now when I drive around Downtown Los Angeles all I see is vibrant colors. These photos are of a building let me know what you think?

We had our Berkshire Hathaway Beverly Hills office meeting and there were surprise guests: Graham Bloem, Vic Martin & Kira! Evidently our Charity Foundation has been supporting this fantastic organization and we had no idea.

Just in case you did not know there is hope Spring is on its way! The first sign is Daylight savings. I personally am not a big fan of these time changes. I prefer to live it one way or another....

Then in February of 2015 there were 39 Single Family Homes on the Market. That is a change of Plus 17 properties. In other words 77%. I have been crazy busy so I have not have had the opportunity to write about this. On February 19th 2015 the James Beard Foundation’s Semi Finalist Nominees have been announced.

The Median Sold Price by Month in Century City/Westwood is up 15%!
I find this fascinating in January 2014 the Median Sold Price was $675,000. There were many buyers on the fence not wanting to buy. We kept telling them that the only direction we see prices and interest rates going is up.
Well I guess we were half right, since interest rates have been artificially kept low, but prices have increased. The Median Sold Price by Month for January 2015 has been $775,000. That is an increase of $100,000.00 or better said 15%!

Movies have been portraying Realtors often if not all the time in a bad light. One has to wonder why that is. Do Realtors create the problems? The answer is clear: they try to solve the problems. After all they do not get paid unless there is a sale or the problem solved.

The 87th Oscars are in the books.
I am not the biggest fan of the Oscars, since they have a habbit of not staying within a reasonable time frame. Having lived on the East Coast often times Diane would be asleep before the Best Picture Announcement came.
Then when we relocated to the Land of The Movies, we started hosting Oscar Parties... Needless to say that phase of our life has ended as well.
Now we have three indoor and one outdoor cats and our indoor dog, Parties, invitiation of friends to visit have subsided.

Sometimes Then and Now is not that far away, never the less the changes are noticeable. Same location different life style! Little bit of color and different decoration can make a difference.

As I was going to the Bank and heading from there to SEE's Candy Store, since it was the afternoon before Valentine's Day, I could not help notice this sign. I find that no matter where you live there is community activism. As I was driving on Coldwater Canyon Blvd, I passed one of the most exclusive school of the Greater Los Angeles area Harvard-Westlake. Interestingly I could not help but notice all the signs.
