8635 Hollywood Blvd.: SOLD!!! not your everyday sale. In 2013 I represented the seller, and another agent bought the buyer.
2022 I submitted an offer from the neighbor whom I sold the land in 2022. We could not come to an agreement.
2023 submitted an offer again and it was accepted. Go figure all cash deal should have been fast and easy sale. Well not really the seller's LLC was expired... he had tons of liens on all his properties... after six and a half months of being in Escrow, title cleaned up and the buyer being patient we closed today.

Turns out it is a Libra Full Moon. Well, go figure I am a Libra... October 16th. so with that said I thought I would share.

A local new Pizza place: Diane went out to lunch with a friend, and it was a new pizza place. We have a favorite one, in Malibu that I have written about before. A Boston, MA transplant who opened a great pizza place.
Now keep in mind Diane & I are very finicky when it comes to pizza places. They have to have thin crust pizza with good sauce and flavors.

Speechless Sunday: we have had some strange weather here in Los Angeles lately. Out of nowhere, we had another rainstorm around 5pm today. Then when the clouds cleared look what we saw. What a beautiful rainbow.
If you look closely at both pictures you will notice an airplane coming to land at LAX, that is Los Angeles International Airport. When I was watching I saw the plane was in the middle of the Rainbow. Friday Funday: well not every day is fun day how was yours... I have been working on a very challenging escrow. If I told you would have a hard time believing it. We'll let me share some bullet points. September 1st, 2022, I wrote an offer on a vacant lot that the buyer and seller did not agree on.
Then August 9th, 2023, I approached the seller with the same buyer...

Everyone is Irish on St Paddy's Day and St. Paddy's Day weekend. So, with that said I decided tonight to do an Irish Dinner in respect to St. Patrick's Day weekend.
Yes, you guessed correctly, Cabage, sausages and potatoes. How much more Irish can you get?
Easy recipe:
1. one medium onion (I prefer sweet onions) Sautee for five to ten minutes depending how much time you have. The longer the better it will caramelize the onion.
2. chop some Celery and carrots of all different types

When we grew up Friday Dinner was always a variety of fish. The standard meal was fried fish and fried potatoes.
Well as you know I try to make dinners healthier than my parents did. So here it is baked potatoes, baked cod, baked Marylin style crabcakes and baked carrots.
Homemade Tartar Sauce the only thing not homemade is the cetchup but only Diane uses it:) and if you are wondering the lemon is from the backyard.

There are times when sellers do not want to have the property listed and marketed in the MLS. I am not a fan of it. I believe the more eyes see it on the various platforms the odds are better we get an offer sooner.
Then there are times I focus and try to convince my sellers to list it on all the platforms. The only time I like it being not in the MLS when I am trying to cool a property and bring it back as new.

Speechless Sundays: If you think cats do not communicate, clearly you have not been exposed to cats. Now with that said, Jill has been coming up to me in my home office... talking, yelling and I ignored her.... then I went in the kitchen and look at the main photo.
The empty hole is where she would eat kibble. Lately she has been on various medication and has some teeth pulled on top, hence she has become a fan of wet food and prefers wet food over kibble. Well, see for yourself.

Here we are time to choose which meal you would like.... well last night I made baked potatoes with baked sausages and baked carrots.
Today since it was Friday I made double baked potatoes with the leftover potatoes and added baked salmon and the baked carrots were not as well baked as the day before...

Wordless Wednesdays: sometimes the sides are the focal point of a meal. When I have leftovers, I try to provide a great side dish or a great bread, well tonight I chose a biscuit, and it was a winner.
This is the second time I made it and it was delicious both times. Keep in mind under 20 minutes you have a great Bisquit. No hard labor easy to make.
