Lobster Bisque Sunday night and leftover Lobster Bisque Monday night... well Sunday afternoon and evening I worked my you know what off, to make the requested Lobster Bisque.
The challenge requires a bit of manual labor and time. The Shells have to be baked for about 35 minutes or more at 400 degrees.
Then you have to make the vegetables, sauté them for about 12-15 minutes.
Then you have to add the wine, water and stock and add the shells.... now you need to be patient 1.5 hrs. at the minimum to give the liquid a lobster flavor. Let's not forget all the seasoning … (24 comments)

Gift from a friend... not all gifts are created equal:)))) Diane received a gift from a friend of hers. It was her birthday and needless to say the friend heard that Diane and another friend put together a puzzle one afternoon in our back yard.
Keep in mind Diane told the story about the 300 peace puzzle and how challenging it was. Needless to say the present she received was a 1000 peace puzzle.
Her local friend is traveling so she could not help. Look who decided to help her. Looks like a great team effort. Stay tuned for further updates:)))

Hope everyone had a fantastic and relaxing Fourth of July. One of my favorite days of the year!
Diane is a bit nervous with all our pets and especially Holly our dog with all the "illegal fireworks". We prefer closing our windows and putting on music and of course the Air Conditioner to keep the Illegal fireworks to a minimal sound.
As I write this post the rumblings can be still heard outside. The professional Fireworks have long been over... but as I like to say the "Hood is still rumbling"

The Art of practicing Real Estate in Los Angeles could be a love story, or it could be dancing or wrestling...
We all love telling Real Estate Stories, every transaction could be a love story, or it could be a historical fiction. I say historical fiction, because only Realtors would understand what transpires during a transaction and others would think it is “fiction”.

Thanksgiving is only eleven days away, no matter where you are in the United States it is just around the corner…
I am so thankful, that I have two of my listings in Escrow and at the same time I am negotiating two other properties. The best part is, here in Los Angeles, all we must worry about is, traffic and not worry about snow or any other natural hazards.

As most of you who read my posts on a regular basis know that Diane & I support Animal Causes. We give Time, Money and Support to Local Animal Rescue Organizations. We have a dog, and we used to have three indoor cats and an outdoor kitty. Things change and one went on to Rainbow Bridge as some of you recall King Douglas aka Douggy left us too soon.
