Playa Vista Condominium Market Report for the month of November 2011 Here we are, the last month of the year is just buzzing by. So let’s look how the November real estate activity fared comparatively. The month has been quite mixed with good news and bad news. Every time I looked on the internet I either saw that there was bad economic news in Italy, Spain, Ireland and Portugal or there was good news that Germany will help out the European Financial Crisis. Now that the long weekend of Labor Day is behind me I am catching up with my Market Reports. So as you all know last month was very turbulent in the world as well as US Economic Markets. Hence it was refreshing for me to see that the Real Estate activity was not affected a lot and people were still listing and selling condominiums in Playa Vista as in the previous month. The numbers are very similar. There has been a drop in the Pending States month (0 comments)
Finally the Debt Ceiling cloud is resolved for now and buyers and sellers of luxury Condominium in Playa Vista can return to what we call the ‘normal real estate market’. When I say ‘normal’, I am referring to the new “normal” in today’s (6 comments)
The month of June was very active for me, many listing appointments, and a lot of viewing of my listings. Hence I am a bit late with my Market Report. As most of you who read my Market Reports consistently will notice that my focus is always on the Trends. I have been reading a great deal about higher interest rates being on the horizon. Since some readers of my blog are not familiar with Playa Vista. Hence I decidedmention a few interesting tidbits about this great community here. Play Vista was the first New Community built on the Westside of Los Angeles in about 50 years. It consists of approximately 1087 Acres of land. There are open space areas, dog parks, play grounds and natural habitat protection as well. This is a small town within the city limits of Los Angeles. As I mentioned last month that Credit has loosened up a bit and consumer confidence is on the road to recovery. Keep in mind it is still a very fragile confidence and as long as there are factors which create fear, these factors can derail this recovery. This is an 8.3% drop of the previous month. Generally in this "New Economy" the fewer Listings that are on the market impede the activity. Nowadays buyers are accustomed to a better selection in the inventory and then they can choose. It is best to have a larger inventory then prices remain more realistic. As we move forward, it is important that we should reflect of how the Real Estate activity was for 2010 in the Playa Vista Market. So let us look at the December statistics in a broader sense. Playa Vista Condominium Market Report for November 2010 The long awaited November Condominium Market Report for Playa Vista, CA is finally here. As some of you know I have and am out of the country as this is being written. I have noticed there was a drop from the Active Listings from the Previous Month. We went from 33 to 31 this has been a downward trend as in Century City Real Estate Activity. Playa Vista Condominium Market Report for October 2010. I had to go back and look at September's numbers, then I had to double check see if I did the search parameters right. I had a difficult time accepting the numbers. They were totally amazing, almost identical numbers for the month of October 2010 as for September 2010. There were 35 Active Condominiums on the Market compared to 33 the previous month. There were a total of 22 Pending Listings consisting of 11 Accepting Back Up Offers and 2 on Hold (Short Sales) and 9 Pending compared to the previous month's 22 (0 comments)
