I just wanted to Salute All the Veterans! Tomorrow November 11th, 2023 is Veterans Day! Thank You Veterans! I am grateful for your service! Tomorrow is Veterans Day! Chances are you know a veteran. It might be a friend, a family member or even yourself. There are some people who sadly confuse Veterans Day with Memorial Day. November 11th is Thanking Veterans for their service in defending this great nation, those who are still alive. Just as there are some people who are confused, and wonder is it Veterans Day or Veteran’s Day. It is Veterans Day since it covers all Veterans from all Branches of the Military not just one Veteran. Thanks to many events that are going on in our country I found today as a more unconventional Veterans Day. Many people have called, text-ed me and emailed me just to wish me a Happy Veteran's Day and thanked me for my service to this great country. Thank you for the calls and emails as well as text. This Saturday, November 11th, 2017 is a day, we honor all veterans, living or dead. We stand united to praise the men and women of our armed forces. Many confuse it with Memorial Day so just to be clear this day is for all veterans!

Over the years there has been a great deal of confusion when Veterans Day should be celebrated. Would you believe it was only sorted out in 1975 and put into effect in 1978? Go figure when politicians get involvedJ this is what happens, hence I am not surprised.

Veterans Day is this Sunday November 11th, 2012: Thank a Veteran for their Selfless Service to our Country! Veterans Day is usually observed on November 11th, if it occurs on a Sunday like this year then the Monday following it, is usually designated as a Federal holiday. Hence to many people this year it is considered a long weekend.
The President of the United States usually lays a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers and is followed with a parade with the Colors. The Ceremony ends honoring and thanking all those who have served … (18 comments)
