I read an interesting article about skills every homeowner should have. Here is the jist! 1. Replace a door lock 2. Change furnace and air-conditioning filters 3. Learn the location of the main water cutoff. 4. Find a stud in wall. 5. Find the spaces between the studs 6. Hang a ceiling fan. 7. Drive drywall screws with a variable speed drill 8. According to www.pikespeakfacts.com December 2008 there were 4,035 active listings. 77% of these active listings were under $400,000 23% of these active listings were over $400,000 Interestingly enough 7% of these active listings over $400,000 were between $400,000 and $500,000, 10% were between $500,000 and $800,000, and 6% were over $800,000. Interest rates are amazing right now. From what I am reading 30 year conventional interest rate is 4.875%. Conventional 15 year loan is 4.625%. 30 year FHA/VA is 5%. What great interest rates. If you are interested in purchasing a home or refinancing your home now is the time to act. (1 comments)

2009 has arrived! For the most part this year will be what we work hard and make it out to be. Life is so short we need to enjoy each day and make every day count. I have been very blessed my whole life and don't take that for granted. We are each given gifts and expected to use them to the best of our ability. I love helping people buy and sell real estate and know I do a good job. I get a lot of satisfaction out of making people happy. I also love spending time with my family (1 comments)
