 I read this interesting info in our CRS news and thought I would pass it on.
More U.S. residents moved in 2009 than they did in 2008, according to a new report by the U.S. Census Bureau. According to data from Geographical Mobility: 2009, 37.1 million people changed residences in the U.S. within the past year, up from 35.2 million people who moved in 2008. More than two-thirds (67.3 percent) moved within the same county, 17.2 percent moved to a different county in the same state, 12.6 percent moved from a different state and 2.9 percent moved to the U.S. from … (2 comments)

Real Estate Sales in Colorado Springs May 9, 2010 - 05/09/10 06:52 PM
Home sales in Colorado Springs are up 19% the first quarter of this year compared to the first quarter of last year.  This is encouraging.
Foreclosures are down by 6% from a year ago and inventories are also down. 
Now that spring has finally arrived and summer will be here soon; it is a great time to purchase a home. 
Interest rates are still good and will probably nudge upward very soon.
