military relocations: Fayetteville, NC Rated #1 for Appreciation/Growth - 02/09/09 03:37 PM
It's settled....Fayetteville has been ranked as the No. 1 housing market in the nation for appreciation in the fourth quarter of 2008. Zillow's report shows Cumberland county increased in home values 6.9 % compared to a year earlier. This is largely because of our military based personnel on Ft. Bragg and Pope AFB. We have not been impacted like the harder hit areas in CA and AZ. Bottom Line: It is a great time to buy now and it has been for quite some time. The media is portraying an image of gloom and doom that is keeping buyers from making a move to

military relocations: They Listened....So I Listed at 235 Union Circle, Lillington, NC - 02/06/09 11:13 PM

military relocations: Moving to Ft. Bragg During Your Child's Senior Year in High School? - 03/12/08 09:59 PM
WELCOME TO FT. BRAGG, NORTH CAROLINA With an increase in population throughout Fayetteville and its surrounding counties, you may have a motivated high school senior or junior who needs to prepare for college. Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) has a program that offers free classes for those seniors and juniors. While tuition is free, you will have to purchase the required books. This should help them prepare and get a good start for the road ahead of them. There are other local colleges in the area that are also great institutions of higher learning. They are Fayetteville State University (FSU), UNC-Pembroke, Methodist University, Central Caroline Community

military relocations: Are You Looking For Lodging Near Ft. Bragg, NC? - 03/10/08 06:08 PM
Lodging near Ft. Bragg can be categorized as friend or foe. It will all depend on how well you are prepared for the transition. While there are many short-term and long-term lodging facilities, the Extended Stay America is one that is dog friendly. They do charge an additional price for this service. Since this is the beginning of our peak season for PCS moves I would make reservatios at least 30-45 days out. Everyone is trying to get to their next location with time to get settled in for their kids to start school. Be sure to ask about some of the
