water restriction: Ft. Bragg Water Conservation: Critical - 09/08/08 04:52 PM

Due to excessive turbidity in the Lower Little River caused by TropicalStorm Hanna, Fort Bragg is initiating Stage IV Water conservationmeasures. The water supply is fit for human consumption, however, thewater supply provided by a connection with the Public Works Commission(PWC) can only supply a minimal amount of potable water to the FortBragg system. Residential users shall reduce water consumption to a level necessary tosustain human life and lives of domestic pets and to maintain minimumstandards of hygiene and sanitation. Businesses engaged in the sale ofplants (AAFES and AAFES vendors) shall not irrigate use potable waterfor irrigating stocks. Use of potable … (0 comments)
