Home sales in Brentwood are still a little slower than Franklin, but it's mostly because the homes in Brentwood average several hundred thousands more than the homes in Franklin, and Franklin has more homes available for sale. The fact that Brentwood requires one acre per house for the neighborhood has a lot to do with that.

Here is the schedule of events for Saturday’s 27th annual Pumpkinfest on Franklin’s Historic Main Street. The street festival of Pumpkinfest is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Franklin’s Main Street from Second to Fifth Avenues.

The Battle of Franklin was one of the biggest of the civil war, and every year we have guys and ladies come to Franklin to participate in fun of shooting cannons and cap and ball rifles at each other. This was what it looks like to shoot a cannon from behind. You would have no idea if you hit something.

Friday Foto - Franklin Tennessee is a beautiful place in the fall. With the abundance of trees and open spaces, almost every picture turns into a postcard. If you live in Nashville, spend a few minutes to visit this weekend and watch the battle of Franklin re-enactment on Saturday and Sunday. Or just enjoy the fall scenery.

Civil War Days set for Oct 16th and 17th in Franklin TN - The annual Franklin Civil War Days are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Harlinsdale Farm. This year marks the 146 th Anniversary of the Battle of Franklin that resulted in approximately 10,000 casualties in five hours in what was one of the bloodiest battles of the American Civil War.
