Protection of individual privacy is of paramount concern. Dodd-Frank requires that information be secured in a manner to ensure that personal privacy or identity theft is not jeopardized.   Servicers have individually interpreted these requirements and set forth policies related to email and messaging controls to ensure compliance.

With that in mind, on April 18, a system enhancement was released to provide servicers the opportunity to implement their own privacy policies within the Equator messaging system.  This powerful tool allows servicers control over how emails are sent through Equator to users based on security, NPPI controls and policies. This is a significant security upgrade to support privacy control requirements.

Equator is aware that agents and vendors work mainly in the field.  We developed and deployed EQagent® Mobile, available at  https://ma.equator.com/ to support agents.  EQagent Mobile empowers agents to check property status, complete tasks, and read messages from any iOS or Android device.
