fsbo: FSBOs - 10/24/07 10:22 PM

Has anyone else had the same problem with FSBOs? I have called so many of them and they are all FSBR (for sale by Realtor.) It bothers me that Realtors are trying to sell their own property by themselves. I don't know about other brokerages but in mine I have the ability to sell properties and not pay a commission within my company. Why risk the drama and legal issues by going on your own? You could risk your license. Has anyone else run across this problem? … (6 comments)

fsbo: How far do you go for FSBO'S? - 10/08/07 08:56 PM

I met a woman the other night and she mentioned that she has 4 units for sale FSBO. I let her know that if she gets tired of dealing with the listings herself, she is more than welcome to call me. She sent me her listing info, but I don't know how far to help her. I don't want to give her all the pricing info and sales data with out having the listing agreement. However, I want to do what I can to make her realize that listing the property with me is a good thing. How much help should … (3 comments)
