Gimme Golf Outing Tips! - 06/26/09 02:11 PM
I was inspired by a post a few weeks ago and decided to sponsor a hole at our local Chamber of Commerce golf outing. The golf outing is in a few weeks (July 17) and about 120 players should be there.
So now I need CREATIVE and FUN ideas on what to do with my hole!
I don't want to give away the same old items everybody does ... so what else can I do?
Can you think of any games or competitions I can use at my hole? Something housing related?
I also just opened a (3 comments)

Cover Me! - 06/19/09 10:51 AM
It's summer! How can you tell? Agents and even brokers go missing for days at a time (if not weeks!). It never fails, you write an offer in on a property -- and the listing agent is gone! Not just on vacation, but out of touch completely. Or what about when you are trying to schedule showings with no reply from the listing agent, and you realize she is out of town? Twice this week we have offers we have written on properties, and the other agents have NOBODY back at the office covering for them. in situation 1, the agent (7 comments)
What is there to blog about anyway? - 06/16/09 02:43 PM

Every day there is inspiration all around me--in the mundane tasks (an appraiser asking for a home inspection report and getting push back), in the exciting new developments that take place every day in this business, and all in between. If you're having problems finding things to write about, here's help! - write about questions your clients ask you and how you answer them - write about problems you're seeing in your business or even personal live (we on (11 comments)

I Have Boundary Issues - 06/06/09 03:34 PM
The past 2 weeks have been tough for me. I have more work than time to complete it, and my desk is overflowing with paperwork. I hired a new admin last week and hope that with her help I'll be able to catch up. But the flood of work has me contemplating how much our business has changed over the past 10 years. Specifically, I think there are 2 areas were BOUNDARY ISSUES crop up. Or my take is that there is an extreme LACK OF BOUNDARIES in our business.
1. BOUNDARIES OF TIME. My dad was a teacher, and (74 comments)
