Local Winery owners were aware of the Beautiful Hegins Park and its outstanding facilities. They met with members of the Park Association and a representative of the Schuylkill County Visitors Bureau to discuss the feasibility of a County Wine Festival. Enthusiastic Park Association Leadership took this great opportunity in cooperation with the Schuylkill County Visitors Bureau to establish the First Annual Schuylkill County Wine Festival held September 6, 2009.

Ashland will commemorate the historic Ashland Boys' Association (A.B.A.) Parade known as the Mardi Gras of the anthracite coal region. The parade route per tradition will be along Centre and Walnut streets and the parade committee invites entries from outside the borough. The parade will be the same motorcade format as last year with fire trucks, floats and old cars. The parade size will be nothing bigger than a fire truck housing or block party parade. Is it mold or mildew in you Schuylkill County home? All houses need proper ventilation or you could see mold or mildew. Don't panic! Make sure that bathroom has good ventilation. Wipe walls down with bleach to take care of mildew and install fans for proper ventilation

Here is some good advice from Alan Grizzle. Appraisers are hit or miss these days. Have they been in the comparable houses/ Do they know the neighborhood? Some days it is so difficult.

It is illegal for real esate agents to discriminate against buyers or sellers -- there are FAIR HOUSING laws in Pennsylvania, and federal fair housing laws as well.
