My Last Open House… - 02/27/12 05:20 PM
My Last Open House… I remember it well. The sun was shining. Birds were chirping. There were even the scent of freshly blooming flowers in the air. I put signs up all over town. With balloons. Filled with helium. Matching the color of our company logo. I stayed up for 2 days making cookies and cupcakes. Oatmeal, chocolate chip, snickerdoodles. I can still taste the pink icing and sprinkles. Yumm. I took out a half-page ad in the local newspaper. Full color. Huge picture of me in the corner. Nice. I knocked on every door for 75 houses in every direction. (84 comments)

(just kidding, we don't yell at our kids) I went downstairs and what's going on? The refrigerator decided to stop keeping things cold. And frozen. You see, when I bought my fridge in April, 2004, I figured I'd have it a long time. Longer than this. WAY LONGER. We went just under "luxury" and stocked the entire rebuild kitchen with GE Profile products. Fridge, stove, dishwasher and otc (19 comments)
It's Been a Different Kind of Week. - 02/12/12 08:16 PM
It's Been a Different Kind of Week. Nothing massive, just not normal. Business has been almost non-existent. My fault because I'm not doing what I know I should be doing, but a few things usually show up, falling from the sky. My daughter, Sydney, is just about getting over Walking Pneumonia. Just in time for the new Walking Dead episode tonight. She's only 9 so I won't let her watch that show. Being 9, she probably wouldn't get that joke, either. But I thought it was funny. Some would say I act like I'm 9 though. Whatever. I also tried a (12 comments)
