single family: Bottom of the Chicago Market? Just some thoughts... - 06/22/07 08:18 PM

Sorry for the tiny, somewhat weak rant here but... We just had a little conversation in my brokerage the other day about the bottom of the market. It is also a common theme we hear from some "would be" home buyers... "I'll wait until next year, or, two years from now and get the same condo for half the price!"Unfortuantely, it doesn't work this way. If there is a bottom of the market then builders will stop building and converting units... rent out their existing units or sell for a slight discount over the other sold units.
