City board approves incentive for Glazer distribution plant (Industrial : San Angelo) 3/11/2009 The San Angelo Development Corp. approved nearly $1 million to incentivize the creation of a regional beer distribution center. The incentive - $930,000 to Farmer's Branch-based Glazer's Distributors for the retention of 45 jobs already in San Angelo and the creation of 79 more - will pay the company $7,500 per job, said Kathy Keane, SADC executive director. The jobs average a salary of $34,000, with benefits adding $9,000 to the average contribution per employee. The incentive must be approved by the City Council before going into effect.
