The time has come for a handful of new home buyers to get off the fence. The past couple of weeks has been hectic, showing and selling homes to new homebuyers. The Supreme Court had once ruled that online sales tax did not need to be collected, if the seller did not have a brick and mortar or a warehouse in the state. New York, Rhode Island and North Carolina are circmuventing the old law, by proposing that websites and affiliate websites should be treated as a physical presence because one or the other is hosted in their state. There is good news in Columbus Ga about some of our neighbors. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, made the local newspaper and it was all good news. Members of Elks Lodge No.111 received a request from a family that needed help with a wheel chair ramp. A child in the family had just been released from the hospital after undergoing surgery which left the child unable to walk. Not only did lodge members build the ramp for the family. Money Magazine put out a new list of Top 10 Best Places to Live. Congratulations to Peachtree City Ga for making the top 10. Out of 2466 towns in the US that have a population between 8,500 and 50,000 Peachtree City Ga ranked number 8. It is a cozy little hideaway with lots of greenspace and community amenities. I have ventured into Peachtree City several times and enjoyed the sites within the community. I particularly enjoyed the commercial signage size restrictions.
