providence town center: Providence Town Center Collegeville, PA (Update 2/4/09) - 02/04/09 11:14 AM
So there is a lot of information floating around about the new Mega shopping center that is being built in Collegeville, PA about the status of the project and when it is scheduled to open. I wanted to help to try and clear some of this up for residents and those thinking of moving to this wonderful area.
The 1st Phase of the shopping center including the re-opening of Arcola Rd to Mennonite Rd is now scheduled to open on October 11, 2009. The stores that are scheduled to open during this initial phase are as follows:

providence town center: Existing Home Sales on the rise Nationwide - 03/24/08 05:16 PM
Good news! This morning, the National Association of Realtors (NAR) reported that existing home sales rose 2.9 percent nationally in February. What's more, existing home sales in the Northeast increased 11.3 percent. In addition, the median home price in the region was up 0.4 percent from a year ago. According to Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist, these gains are encouraging signs that the market is stabilizing.
Now, albeit that homesales look to be on the rise which is the case nationwide, it is because the 'Unrealistic Sellers' have finally begun to notice that "yesterdays" prices are no longer the norm. It … (0 comments)

A recent article in the Philadelphia Inquirer has helped to ease the concern area homeowners have had about the local Real Estate market. The article entitled: What Is Your Home Worth? The region's housing market is healthy despite national troubles appeared in the Sunday September 23 edition and was written by Real Estate writer Alan J. Heavens. providence town center: Collegeville Area Retail Beginning to Boom - 10/22/07 01:37 PM
If you have spent any time in the Collegeville area recently you have noticed all the new retail construction that is going on. Numerous new projects are being started and a few are even about to open. Collegeville area residents are dealing with the ongoing construction, but will soon benefit from not having to travel to King of Prussia to dine and shop. The 2 new major projects that are underway are the Providence Town Center in Collegeville (across from Wyeth) and the Philadelphia Premium Outlets located in Limerick (off the Sanatoga exit of 422).
