There is a new distribution center coming to southern Utah and bringing jobs too. The Fortune 300 retailer Family Dollar Distribution Center will add a new facility in the Washington County area of southern Utah. They will be investing in close to $80 million to build a new 800,000 square foot center. The new center will be aimed to serve all western stores.

The Bank of Utah officials are now cautioning potential homebuyers and homeowners who want to refinance to check the license of their broker. Back in mid-December, the Utah Division of Real Estate sent a final alert to mortgage brokers to meet new federal SAFE Act requirements, which includes licensing with the federal Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) by year end.
