wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday~Rest & Relaxation - 03/14/12 04:24 PM
The 2012 St George Utah Parade of Homes recently ended and I've enjoyed sharing some photos of the gorgeous homes that were on display this year. This photo was taken in a moderately priced home that had some real "wow" features. I would love to draw a bath and just relax in this tub....

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday~Hoodrunner or Roadrider?? - 02/01/12 04:30 PM
Here's a good one for Wordless Wednesday-how about a Roadrunner on the hood of a car! My son caught this mischievous roadrunner at the school he attends in Mesa Arizona a couple of days ago. He says the little guy is always running around in the parking lot, you never know what you'll catch him doing.....

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday~Sunshine and Blue Skies in Kayenta Desert Community~St George UT - 12/28/11 06:15 PM
I thought I'd share some of the sunshine and blue skies that we typically enjoy here in St George UT on this December day. This photo was taken a couple of days ago in the lovely desert community of Kayenta which is just 7 miles from St George. Kayenta is not your typical neighborhood with track homes and small lots. Kayenta is a unique community that values privacy, natural open space, unobstructed views and preserving the natural surroundings. Before any construction is started, great consideration is taken to ensure that views are not obstructed and privacy is ensured. This special attention

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday~Can You Guess Where This Is?? - 11/16/11 01:15 PM
My daughter recently took this photo and shared it with me. I thought it was beautiful, and not something we see everyday! Can you guess where it was taken? There's several landmarks that might tip you off, if you look closely.... Please feel free to guess and share any fun photos of places you've been in the remarks!

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday~Learn to Bloom Where You're Planted - 08/24/11 11:23 AM
I was doing a final walk through with my buyers just prior to closing on their new home in the Kayenta Desert Community near St George Utah. As we walked around the yard I noticed this lonely cactus, determined to bloom! It was a beautiful sight among the dry, red dirt that surrounded it. I thought of the phrase I've often told my children-"learn to bloom where you're planted". This little cactus has certainly succeeded at blooming where it was planted.

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday~Itsy, Bitsy Spider - 08/03/11 01:53 PM
For this Wordless Wednesday I decided to share another topiary I caught in a yard here in St George. Itsy, bitsy spider it is not! Imagine taking a walk in the cool evening air just after dark and encountering this critter near the sidewalk. I bet he's startled his share of unsuspecting pedestrians.....

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday-"Hey Dum-dum, you give me gum-gum!" - 07/20/11 10:41 AM
While driving through one of the lovely neighborhoods here in St George a few weeks ago, my daughter noticed a very unique bush at one of the homes. We both did a double take and couldn't believe our eyes! The line from the popular movie Night At The Museum instantly popped into my head. "Hey Dum-dum, you give me gum-gum!"

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday-A Waterfall in St George Utah??? - 06/08/11 10:11 PM
I love Wordless Wednesday because it gives me the chance to run through my photos and choose one to to use each week! This photo was taken of the waterfall descending off of the Gunlock Reservoir Spillway near St George Utah. As the lake fills each spring, the excess water tumbles over the natural red rock spillway and down this waterfall into the Santa Clara River. It truly is a sight to behold, a waterfall right here in St George Utah....

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday-Bloomin' Ocotillo in St George Utah - 05/18/11 11:26 AM
Bloomin' Ocotillo, isn't that fun to say?? Yesterday I was in Kayenta Desert Community doing the final walk through before closing with my buyers. They are purchasing a beautiful home with views to die for of the red mountains. I noticed the ocotillo in their new yard was blooming and decided to take some photos. Virginia Hepp wrote a post a few days ago about Ocotillo in Sun City Mesquite. She says there's a rumor that these odd looking plants were left here centuries ago by aliens! Hmmmm......

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday-Can You Spot Red Mountain Spa? - 03/23/11 05:55 PM
Red Mountain Spa is a world renowned health spa located in St George Utah near Snow Canyon State Park. I took this photo from a home in Entrada at Snow Canyon and noticed that you could faintly see Red Mountain Spa in the distance. I also liked the shadows made by the clouds against the red mountains and the sun peeking through in spots. Undoubtedly, Entrada at Snow Canyon affords some beautiful views and scenery.

wordless wednesday: Wordless Wednesday-Sky Mountain Golf Course - 03/09/11 07:41 PM
Sky Mountain Golf Course in Hurricane Utah has such a spectacular backdrop with snow capped Pine Valley mountain behind it. This course is always beautiful, but I think it's especially gorgeous right now with the different mountain ranges around it, some with snow on them. It won't be there long, I'm afraid. Spring is on it's way and the snow will melt soon.
