Take more vacations Two things happen when I take vacations. #1 – I always seem to get an offer on a listing or I have a buyer ready to write a contract. #2 – I relax. If your luck is anything like mine – then you’re sure to have some serious action in your business the minute you choose to step away. I’m not sure why it is. We tend to work pretty hard before we actually head out of town – and a lot of times that’ll reap some great benefits. It might interrupt your vacation – but a (5 comments)

It’s cold and I don’t wanna move “It’s cold and I don’t wanna move in the winter.” That’s the excuse I hear all too often up here in North Dakota. Sure, we get the usual ‘I want to take my listing off until spring’ reasoning quite frequently. But with winters that’re cold enough to chip your tooth on soup…moving in the winter seems, well – horrible. And that argument does carry some clout. I mean, who wants to be outside in the frigid cold? But think about it – if winters are rough, then you want to be inside…right? And what (7 comments)
