Not 1 showing in 91 days of being on the market! This home is located in a quiet neighborhood in Moorhead, MN. 
We've had open houses frequently, nobody through. The price cannot be lowered, as it was already lowered, and the seller can go no lower. The house is a little bit older, but has a lot of potential to be a great home! Is there a way we can show the potential that this home is screaming?!

Houses with unique layouts…
Some spaces sometimes seem to be dysfunctional…and many cannot envision how some spaces could work. Even in Fargo, ND...they have long houses, with unique layouts...
What do you do with your clients to make them envision it working, without the home being staged?
This particular home, is FABULOUS. The upstairs is a wonderful space, the kitchen is amazing, but then there’s this really odd space not too far from the entry way, and right next to the dining room, but then there are those stairs…
What do you love about houses like this? Opportunity?

Have you heard of Rubicon Mortgage Advisors?
Well, now you have! These guys are THE best! Relatively new (formed in 2006), but they sure know how to do their job. Online applications with almost instantanious approval response makes OUR lives as realtors SO much easier! 
They are extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and they are there to serve you at the drop of a pin.

Maybe it's the brand new feel...or is it the thought that you can build your dream home, and get everything you want?...You have the ability to get the finishes you want to fit your style...Is it everything you've ever imagined in your dream home? Is it because there should be no initial maintenance that needs to be done?

There is something about character homes that just sends a charm through my body when I show it to a client. Is it the old feel? Is it the all natural woodwork refinished? Could it be the curved arches on every doorway in the home? Could it be the unique architecture of the home?

Buy a house to pay for college?!?

I recently had some clients call me complaining about how expensive the dorms are at NDSU (our local university).  So instead of biting the bullet and paying for dorms, they are purchasing a foreclosure for their son to live in (putting it in his name).  Plans are to fix it up (a few thousand dollars), and rent out a couple rooms to his friends.  Their son gets to live for free in a decent house (his friends pay the mortgage) close to campus and when he graduates, sell the house and make enough profit to pay … (7 comments)
