Mad Monday Man. So I come to the office right trying to get some work done. I have to submit an offer to a cash buyer who is looking to buy in PG County MD,submit an offer on my short sale listing to my client and still working with one of my buyers. We are supposed to go to closing by the end of this month. (Pray that we get an extension) And still working with some more buyers. By why am I mad you ask? Katie (Graham)Lance-Marketing Manager at Inman News has started a Social Media Campaign to get tickets to be on Oprah Show. She sent me an e-mail via LinkedIn. So I said that I would do anything to try and help her get on the Oprah Show. In two short weeks,she already has 235 Facebook fans and many has been tweeted out literally thousands of times. She has gotten emails, tweets and Facebook messages of encouragement. She has also tweeted about it using the hashtag #Savemeaseatoprah. Southern Maryland Real Estate Market Report Statistics for January 2011 is out. Southern Maryland covers counties such as Calvert County,Charles County and St.Mary's County. When we talk about the Housing Recovery,Slow and Steady is the name of the game. If there's one thing that this Real Estate Market has taught us,it is that "bubbles don't last." Pending sales in Southern Maryland increased 239 +26.5% from January 2010. 1,861 homes for sale decreased 5.4% from 1,968 in January 2010. Prices slid to $236,000 that's -12.6% from 269,990 in January 2010. Expect housing inventory level to grow as the spring market heats up. (2 comments)
