However that doesn't mean that you can't afford to buy a house in Washington DC. Deanwood DC zip code 20019,houses are selling in the $130,000 price range. Houses in Anacostia DC zip code 20020 are selling in the upper 150's. And DC houses for sale in Congress Heights DC zip code 20032,houses are selling in the mid 120's.

Total amount of Washington DC Houses for sale that actually sold in July 2009 were 648 houses compared to 506 houses in July 2008. That is a 28.06% DC home sales increase.
