home sellers: PRESIDENT BUSH OFFERS AID AS FORECLOSURES SOAR - 09/03/07 10:08 PM

I was watching the news last friday night about President Bush trying to help struggling homeowners across the nation. The package of changes that he outlined in a Rose Garden ceremony includes legislation proposed by Michigan's Sen. Debbie Stabenow that is supposed to help ease the income tax burden on homeowners who real estate analysis strike debt-ridden deals with their lenders.
I agree with President Bush (which is very rare) when he said that it is not the Government's job to bail out people who made bad decisions when it came time to buy a home they knew they couldn't afford. However,they have to … (5 comments)
